Children can now interact with screens long before they can walk and talk these days and it is now becoming an essential part of the educational curriculum. In fact not only does technology not have a negative impact on young children it can, in many ways, have a very positive impact on a child’s social and educational development.

We are delighted to introduce the Sharp BIG PAD Interactive Learning Table – Early Years Edition to Pre-School Rooms of Sipson, Longford and Oaklands Nurseries. This learning table is a great way for young children to operate modern technology in an educational environment. The table has a host of educational apps that are compliant with the EYFS Syllabus, which can be operated by up to four children at any one time. The multi-touch interactivity harnesses a child’s innate ability to operate the screen whilst also teaching them to interact and share with their peers as well as learning key skills such as reading, writing or arithmetic.
